Experimental ✨ Challenging traditional notions of materials, texture, and appearance are key in eco-couture. ✨ Raffia is a fascinating material to work with. It’s natural texture is perfect for an elevated organic and earthy vibe, and its position as a renewable resource adds an extra layer of eco consciousness and sustainability. ✨ This floral appliqué jacket is created from woven raffia and linen, with the flowers and leaves accented in vintage leather. We paired it with a vintage kimono bustier from my archive and the Olivia parachute skirt in olive. ✨ The jacket is on its way to France where it will be showcased at Cannes and other fabulous locales.
